This Privacy Policy explains how Stylee Inc. (“Stylee,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information about you when you use our websites, mobile apps, and other online products and services that link to this Privacy Policy (collectively, the “Services”).
We encourage you to read this Privacy Policy carefully. If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, please do not use the Services.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information about you in four main ways: (a) information you provide directly, (b) information related to device permissions and product features you choose to enable, (c) information we collect automatically when you use the Services, and (d) information we receive from sign-in providers and service providers that help us run Stylee. We do not buy personal information about you from data brokers.
1.1 Information You Provide Directly
We collect the information you choose to provide when you interact with us, such as:
- Account and profile information. Email address, sign-in method or provider information (such as Apple, Google, or email verification), display name, and any profile details you choose to add.
- Content you submit. Images, outfit details, closet metadata, note text, prompts, and other content you choose to upload to or create in the Services.
- Waitlist and signup information. If you join a waitlist, we collect your email address, signup placement or source, and related communications with you about the waitlist.
- Communications and feedback. Information you provide when you contact us, respond to outreach, or submit feedback.
1.2 Device Permissions and Feature Data
Some Stylee features depend on device permissions or feature-specific settings you choose to enable. For example:
- Photos and camera. If you grant access, we can capture outfit photos, choose images from your photo library, and save optimized images for the Services.
- Photo metadata. When available, we may read metadata embedded in a photo you choose, such as a human-readable location label, to help prefill context like an outfit location field.
- Notifications. If you interact with Shop waitlist or notification prompts, we may store your notification permission state and related prompt status so we can reflect your current settings.
- Location. If you enable location-based features, we may store your location permission state and rounded coordinates, accuracy, and capture time to support the Local Weather feature, remember your location settings, and troubleshoot location-related functionality.
1.3 Information We Collect Automatically
When you use the Services, we automatically collect certain information about how you access and use them. This typically includes:
- Device and usage information. For example, IP address, device type and operating system, app version, browser type, language settings, and the pages or screens you view and actions you take within the Services.
- Log information. Standard log files and diagnostic data, such as timestamps, referring and exit pages, and crash reports.
- Analytics and similar technologies. On the website and in the app, we and our service providers may use cookies, local storage, SDKs, and similar technologies to understand traffic and feature usage, remember preferences, measure performance, and improve the Services.
1.4 Information We Receive from Sign-In Providers and Service Providers
If you choose to sign in through Apple or Google, we may receive information made available by that provider, such as your email address, name, and profile details, subject to that provider's settings and policies.
We also work with service providers that help us run Stylee. Depending on the surface you use, these providers help with things like:
- Hosting and infrastructure
- Authentication, database storage, and private asset storage
- Crash reporting and diagnostics
- Usage analytics
- Security and fraud prevention
- AI-based image processing and generation features
These providers may collect information directly from your device or browser on our behalf and share it with us in aggregated or identifiable form, depending on the service.
1.5 Sensitive Information
We do not request sensitive personal information, such as government ID numbers, financial account credentials, health information, or information about your race, religion, political opinions, or sexual orientation, as part of normal use of the Services, and we ask that you do not submit it unless it is necessary for your use of the Services. Some information you choose to submit, such as photos or notes, may incidentally contain or reveal sensitive information. We process submitted content only to provide, secure, and support the Services and do not ask users to provide sensitive categories for advertising or unrelated profiling.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for purposes such as:
- Providing, maintaining, and improving the Services and developing new features
- Operating your account and storing your closet, outfits, and submitted content
- Authenticating you and managing sign-in flows
- Providing AI-powered features such as image analysis, item prefill or classification, outfit breakdown, and generated suggestions or titles
- Managing waitlists and respecting notification-related choices
- Supporting the Local Weather feature, location settings, and related troubleshooting when you enable location-based features
- Personalizing your experience, including remembering your settings and preferences
- Monitoring and analyzing usage and trends to improve the Services and user experience
- Detecting, investigating, and preventing fraudulent or unauthorized activity
- Communicating with you about updates, security alerts, and support messages
- Complying with legal obligations and enforcing our terms and policies
3. When and With Whom We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We also do not permit our service providers to use your personal information for their own unrelated advertising or marketing purposes.
3.1 Service Providers
We share information with trusted service providers that help us operate Stylee, such as providers for hosting, storage, authentication, analytics, diagnostics, communications, and security. These providers may use your information only as needed to provide services to us.
3.2 Sign-In and AI Providers
If you sign in through Apple or Google, those providers process your information under their own policies. If you choose to use AI-powered photo features and confirm any in-product disclosure shown at the time, we may send the content you submit for those features, plus limited technical information needed to operate them, to third-party AI service providers that help us operate those features.
3.3 Legal, Safety, and Corporate Events
We may also share your information to comply with applicable law or legal process, to protect the rights, property, or safety of Stylee, our users, or the public, or in connection with a corporate transaction, such as a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets.
3.4 Sale and Sharing of Personal Information
We do not sell your personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
4. Analytics and Similar Technologies
We and our service providers may use cookies, local storage, SDKs, logs, and similar technologies to keep the Services running, remember preferences, understand usage, measure performance, and improve the product. On the landing website, this may include browser-based analytics and related diagnostic tooling.
Some browsers offer “Do Not Track” signals. Because there is not a consistent industry standard for interpreting those signals, we do not currently respond to them. We do not knowingly allow third parties, other than service providers acting on our behalf, to collect information about your online activities over time and across different websites through the Services for their own behavioral advertising purposes.
5. Your Privacy Rights and Choices
Depending on where you live, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information, such as the right to access or obtain a copy of the personal information we hold about you, request correction of inaccurate information, request deletion, or object to or request restriction of certain processing.
You may be able to access, update, or delete certain information through available in-app settings. Account deletion removes your access to Stylee. We also attempt to delete associated account data and content from our active systems, subject to limited retention needed for legal, backup, fraud-prevention, and security purposes. If some media cleanup does not complete on the first attempt, residual copies may remain until they are manually removed or overwritten in backup systems. You can also manage camera, photo library, location, and notification permissions through your device settings.

6. Data Security
We use technical and organizational measures designed to protect your information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of your information.
7. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, to comply with our legal obligations, to resolve disputes, and to enforce our agreements. For example, we generally keep account information and submitted content while your account is active, waitlist information until it is removed or no longer needed, and logs, diagnostics, and analytics data for as long as reasonably needed for security, troubleshooting, and product improvement.
Backup and residual copies may persist for a limited period before they are deleted or overwritten. Where possible, we may de-identify or aggregate information so that it is no longer associated with an identifiable individual.
8. International Transfers
Stylee is based in the United States, and we and our service providers may process information in the United States and other countries where we or our providers operate. Those countries may have data protection laws that are different from the laws where you live.
9. Children's Privacy
The Services are not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take reasonable steps to delete it. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.
10. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of the policy and, where required by law, notify you of material changes.
