This Privacy Policy explains how Stylee Inc. ("Stylee," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information about you when you use our websites, mobile apps, and other online products and services that link to this Privacy Policy (collectively, the "Services").
We encourage you to read this Privacy Policy carefully. If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, please do not use the Services.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information about you in three main ways: (a) information you provide directly, (b) information we collect automatically when you use the Services, and (c) information collected via our service providers (for example, through SDKs and cookies that run on our behalf). We do not purchase or obtain personal information about you from data brokers or other third parties for enrichment or profiling.
1.1 Information You Provide Directly
We collect the information you choose to provide when you interact with us, such as:
Account information. Email address, password, username or display name, and any profile details you choose to add.
Content you submit. Images, text, and other content you upload to or create in the Services (for example, photos you submit for analysis or styling suggestions, prompts you type into AI features, and any feedback you provide).
Communications. Information you provide when you contact us (for example, customer support requests, survey responses, or other forms you submit).
Payment-related information. If you purchase a subscription or paid feature, your payment is processed by our payment processor (such as Stripe). We receive limited information about your transaction (for example, the last four digits of your card, card type, and transaction identifiers), but we do not receive or store your full card number or card security code.
1.2 Information We Collect Automatically
When you use the Services, we automatically collect certain information about how you access and use them. This typically includes:
Device and usage information. For example, IP address, device type and operating system, app version, browser type, language settings, and the pages or screens you view, links you click, and other actions you take within the Services.
Log information. Standard log files and diagnostic data, such as timestamps, referring and exit pages, and crash reports.
Approximate location. Derived from your IP address or device settings (for example, country or city level). We do not use or store precise GPS-level location for Stylee.
Analytics information. We use analytics tools to understand how the Services are used and to improve performance and features (for example, which features are used most often and what generally leads to errors or crashes).
1.3 Information Collected via Service Providers and SDKs
We work with service providers who operate SDKs, cookies, and similar technologies in our apps and on our sites. These providers help us with things like:
Hosting and infrastructure
Crash reporting and diagnostics
Usage analytics
Payments and subscription management
Security and fraud prevention
AI-based image processing and recommendations
These providers collect information directly from your device or browser on our behalf and share it with us in aggregated or identifiable form, depending on the service. We treat this as information collected by us, not as separate third-party sourcing.
1.4 Sensitive Personal Information
We do not intentionally process categories of "sensitive" personal information (as defined by certain privacy laws), such as government ID numbers, financial account credentials, health information, or information about your race, religion, political opinions, or sexual orientation.
Biometrics via Face ID and similar device features. We may allow you to enable device-level biometric authentication (for example, Apple Face ID or the Android equivalent) to log in or unlock the app. This authentication is handled by your device's operating system. We do not access or store your biometric templates or scans; we only receive a "success" or "failure" signal from the OS.
Payment information. When you make a purchase, your payment details are processed directly by our payment processor (such as Stripe). We do not receive or store your full credit card number or card security code. We only receive limited payment information necessary to confirm the transaction (for example, last four digits of the card and card type).
Because we do not access or store biometric identifiers ourselves and do not receive full payment card details, we do not treat these as sensitive personal information processed by Stylee.
2. Offer Wall and Promotions
From time to time, the Services may include a third-party hosted offer wall or similar experience. An offer wall allows you to view and complete promotional offers from third parties (for example, downloading another app or completing a survey) in exchange for rewards within Stylee.
When you interact with an offer wall, we may share the following with the offer wall provider:
A unique Stylee user identifier
Your subscription status within Stylee (for example, free or paid tier)
Events related to the offer wall, such as:
When you open or view the offer wall
Which offers you click
When an offer is completed
We share this information so that the offer wall provider can:
Display relevant offers to you
Attribute offer completions to your Stylee account
Provide us with information needed to award you any in-app rewards
The offer wall provider acts as our service provider in this context and may only use the information as necessary to operate the offer wall and measure performance on our behalf, in accordance with their own privacy practices and applicable law. We do not permit the offer wall provider to use your Stylee data for their own unrelated advertising or to sell your personal information.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for purposes such as:
Providing, maintaining, and improving the Services and developing new features
Operating account and subscription features
Processing transactions and sending purchase-related communications
Providing AI-powered features, such as analyzing images you upload and generating recommendations
Personalizing your experience, including remembering your settings and preferences
Monitoring and analyzing usage and trends to improve the Services and user experience
Detecting, investigating, and preventing fraudulent or unauthorized activity
Communicating with you about updates, security alerts, and support messages
Complying with legal obligations and enforcing our terms and policies
4. When and With Whom We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We also do not grant our vendors the right to use your personal information for their own independent advertising or marketing unrelated to Stylee.
We may share your information with:
4.1 Service Providers
We share information with trusted third-party companies and individuals who perform services on our behalf, such as:
Hosting, storage, and infrastructure
Payment processing and subscription management
Usage analytics and crash reporting
Security and fraud prevention
Customer support tools and communication platforms
These service providers are allowed to use your information only as needed to provide services to us and are required to protect your information.
4.2 AI Service Providers
To power certain AI features (for example, image analysis and recommendations), we use a combination of our own AI technology and third-party AI platforms, such as OpenAI and Google Gemini.
When you use AI-related features, we may send the following information to these AI service providers:
The content you submit (for example, images and prompts you upload for analysis or recommendations)
Limited technical information needed to provide the service reliably (for example, an internal request identifier, language, or feature flag)
These AI service providers process your information as our service providers to generate outputs (such as suggested styles or text responses) and return those outputs to us. We do not grant them permission to use your personal information for their own independent advertising or marketing. Their use of information is also subject to their own terms and privacy documentation.
4.3 Legal, Safety, and Corporate Events
We may also share your information:
To comply with applicable law or legal process, or to respond to lawful requests from public authorities
To protect the rights, property, or safety of Stylee, our users, or the public
In connection with a corporate transaction, such as a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate confidentiality and security protections
4.4 Sale and Sharing of Personal Information
We use analytics, infrastructure, and other service providers that may rely on cookies, SDKs, and similar technologies. We structure these relationships so that these providers act as our service providers, not as buyers of your data.
We do not:
Sell your personal information as that term is commonly understood
Allow our service providers to use your personal information for their own independent advertising or marketing unrelated to Stylee
Some privacy laws define "sale" or "sharing" broadly and may treat certain uses of cookies or analytics as a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. Where required by law, we will provide additional disclosures and a mechanism for you to opt out of such activity.
5. Cookies, Local Storage, and Analytics
We and our service providers use cookies, SDKs, and similar technologies to operate and improve the Services, including to remember your preferences, perform analytics, and measure the effectiveness of features and experiences. Details of these technologies and your choices may be described in a separate cookies or tracking technologies notice.
6. Your Privacy Rights and Choices
Depending on where you live, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information, such as the right to:
Access or obtain a copy of the personal information we hold about you
Request that we correct inaccurate personal information
Request deletion of your personal information
Object to or request restriction of certain processing
Opt out of certain uses of cookies or targeted advertising where applicable
You can exercise many of these rights directly in the app (for example, by updating your account information or deleting certain content). You can also contact us using the information in the "Contact Us" section below to make a request. We will respond to your request as required by applicable law.
We collect information directly from you and automatically through your use of our services (including via our own and our service providers' SDKs and cookies). We do not buy or obtain personal information about you from data brokers, marketing list vendors, or social networks for enrichment or profiling.
7. Data Security
We use technical and organizational measures designed to protect your information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of your information.
8. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, to comply with our legal obligations, to resolve disputes, and to enforce our agreements. Where possible, we will de-identify or aggregate information so that it is no longer associated with an identifiable individual.
9. Children's Privacy
The Services are not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take reasonable steps to delete it. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.
10. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of the policy and, where required by law, notify you of material changes.
